NFL and United Way are gearing up to tackle childhood obesity
United Way is committed to getting 1.9 million more kids active and healthy by 2018. Through our partnership with the NFL, we are leveraging Back to Football Friday to further create awareness around this issue. Back to Football Friday is a national campaign that encourages fans to show their team pride and support for youth health and wellness on Friday, September 9. On this day, fans around the nation will donate $5 to wear their favorite team gear to work to demonstrate that they are supporting the NFL and United Way in tackling childhood obesity.
The countdown to Back to Football Friday has begun! Here are four fun ways for you to get involved. For more ideas, visit the Back to Football Friday homepage.
