GMC, the official vehicle of the National Football League (NFL) has generously donated 70 Super Bowl XLV tickets to help United Way bring awareness and impact to the issue of youth health and wellness.
Through January 9, 35 Super Bowl packages—two game tickets, a four night stay at an NFL-sanctioned hotel, a private meet-and-greet with former NFL players including two-time Super Bowl champion Deion Sanders, and more—will be auctioned at www.NFL.com/auction.
Auction proceeds will support the NFL and United Way’s health and wellness efforts through Hometown Huddle—a league-wide day of community service engaging all 32 NFL clubs to give kids more opportunities to get active and healthy, as part of the NFL PLAY 60 campaign.
Studies show the obesity rate among children has nearly doubled in the last 10 years. Not only can obesity cause health issues in kids today, it also leads to serious problems, such as diabetes and heart disease in adulthood.By teaming up with United Way and the NFL, GMC and General Motors are helping promote exercise and nutrition as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Bid on tickets today and join us in creating opportunities for a better life for all people.
