Community Chest of Korea (CCK), raising more than $500M/year of which 65% of the fund comes from Korea major corporations, is sharing its 2020 Corporate Social Contribution Assessment Index with United Way Worldwide. CCK developed this index as a tool to better align itself with CSR visions of major corporate donors and communicate well with execution partners. It has been useful to engage with stakeholders and move towards the common goal and collectively create measurable impact for the community. The index has been applied to large projects funded by big Korea companies giving more than $10M/year to CCK, and additional 70+ projects supported by small and mid-sized companies where appreciated evidence-based approach.
