In response to the war in Ukraine, United Way Worldwide launched the United for Ukraine Fund in March 2022, raising $4.2M in the first six months to advance relief efforts. Of every dollar raised, 95 cents has gone to on-the-ground partners, with 5 cents helping United Way vet recipients, track and measure impact. The Fund was closed to new contributions on March 31, 2023.
